Aaaaand so it begins...

I have fought back the urge to post my work in Deviant Art for a long time. Partly because of the fear of negative feedback, as I actually have had, at various points in my life, an actual desire to "go pro" with my art. Partly because of fear of having my ideas pilfered -- but that speaks of a certain conceit, doesn't it?
Anyways, several friends and family have recently lent me the courage to share this stuff with others. I have given in. At least now when I die (a very long time from now, hopefully) there will have been more than just a few people in the world that have seen my work -- such as it is.

JollyJack and Kris_Wilson are two of the most watched and loved artists on here (who aren't employees of DA themselves) along with Mikeinel, Mattthesamurai, and Genzoman among others...
you've probably noticed. there's a certain hierarchy that the more popular art styles here follow...
1. porn (or anything sexy)
2. comics
3. furry stuff.
so you have yourself a slight advantage. ^ ^

Well... I like to see well-made art, and I'm a male human being, so I definitely see the appeal of the first two -- especially when they are combined. I found JollyJack because of my love for Nate Piekos of Atland fame ([link] -- my absolute favorite web comic). JollyJack is a regular poster on the Atland forums and that led me to his Deviant Art gallery. JollyJack's 'favorites' have led me to a number of other excellent artists, however most of them get a little too racy for my taste, but their art is truly excellent.
